The Unnecessary Lockdown - Archive of Links

Updated: Dec 31, 2020

This page has studies, articles and videos showing:

- 'Lockdowns' do not stop the spread of viruses.

- There is no evidence of asymptomatic transmission of Covid-19

- There was never a time when health services were threatened to be overrun due to Covid-19.

- Covid-19 hospitalisations and deaths were already falling naturally, often before lockdowns were imposed.

- The virus followed the same curve in countries and regions where no lockdown was imposed.

Demonstrating that lockdowns were, and are, unnecessary.

December 30th Update:

Asymptomatic transmission of covid-19 - BMJ - "Searching for people who are asymptomatic yet infectious is like searching for needles that appear and reappear transiently in haystacks, particularly when rates are falling."

"The absence of strong evidence that asymptomatic people are a driver of transmission is another good reason for pausing the roll out of mass testing in schools, universities, and communities."

Toronto Emergency Room Doctor, Dr. Gil Nimni is getting a lot of attention after tweeting, "I can’t help but shake my head tonight. I just finished my shift at the COVID-19 Assessment Centre at my hospital. I decided to walk through my ER on my way to the changeroom - EMPTY ! I shake my head at my colleagues who go on Twitter and TV ranting about how our ER is crazy." Listen to why he sent that tweet, and how he would handle the Pandemic moving forward.

The PCR False Positive Pseudo-Epidemic - New from Dr Mike Yeadon

November 26th Update:

Covid-19 Mortality: A Matter of Vulnerability Among Nations Facing Limited Margins of Adaptation - "Stringency of the measures settled to fight pandemia, including lockdown, did not appear to be linked with death rate."

Post-lockdown SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid screening in nearly ten million residents of Wuhan, China - "Compared with symptomatic patients, asymptomatic infected persons generally have low quantity of viral loads and a short duration of viral shedding, which decrease the transmission risk of SARS-CoV-2. In the present study, virus culture was carried out on samples from asymptomatic positive cases, and found no viable SARS-CoV-2 virus. All close contacts of the asymptomatic positive cases tested negative, indicating that the asymptomatic positive cases detected in this study were unlikely to be infectious."

November 21st Update:

"There is utterly unfounded public hysteria driven by the media and politicians. This is the biggest hoax ever perpetrated on an unsuspecting public..."

UNLOCKED UK EPISODE - Dr MIKE YEADON - Mike Yeadon discusses the bad science SAGE is using to justify the Government response to Covid in UK

The Covid Physician’s true coronavirus timeline - "if it had not been for mainstream media and the government, I would not have even noticed there were a pandemic. I experienced no excessive dying, and no excessive becoming seriously ill."

Hospitals are more overcrowded than EVER: Average bed occupancy rate for 2017 sits at 92%, but dozens of trusts are even fuller - Interesting as it is so recent (2017) and states that occupancy in some trusts was at 99% whilst average at 92%. Full or close to capacity is totally normal. Still the NHS survived....

Coronavirus: WHO backflips on virus stance by condemning lockdowns - Lockdowns have been used to control the coronavirus around the world. Now a WHO official has questioned the success of them.

October 12th Update:

Great Barrington Declaration - "As infectious disease epidemiologists and public health scientists we have grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of the prevailing COVID-19 policies, and recommend an approach we call Focused Protection."
